Have you heard about the cookbook that the PTO is in the process of creating??? Well, we can't pull this all together without the help of the students! Currently, there is a school wide contest for your child to have their drawing selected to be on the front cover or within one of the dividers of our new school cookbook coming out in the spring of 2012. Some children were able to draw these pictures in art class but if your child was not able to draw a picture in art class and would like to participate in this cookbook contest here’s what you need to do:
Draw a picture (remember, it's for a cookbook) on ½ of an 8.5x11 white piece of paper using markers or colored pens only. No crayons or colored pencils can be used. Write your child’s full name on the back of the picture. Return the picture to school. There will be a school wide vote on the best drawing for the cookbook cover/dividers coming in December.

It is the mission of the Carver Elementary PTO to work in conjunction with both parents and teachers to enhance and encourage the educational and social environment for the students of Carver Elementary. The goal is to compliment the school’s curriculum with additional opportunities for parents, teachers and students to learn, socialize, communicate and grow.
The Carver Elementary PTO provides support to the school by raising money to fund selected classroom activities, necessary supplies, school programs, improvements and much more.
